In our Liquor Lab we focus on small-batch distilling and old-world methods, that we continuously try to refine. “Slow Distilling” is what we do: well prepared runs, best ingredients and fermenting practice, and a lot of patience when we craft-distill in our traditional alembic copper stills from Germany. Using extended distillation runs by only slowly increasing the temperature is time consuming, but the hand crafted liquors reward that. When collecting the heart of the distillate we cut more of the head and tail away - for a very smooth taste with only the most tasteful components. With this approach we can pioneer innovative liquor while offering best traditional spirits. Our pot stills with column allow for classic distilling preserving tasteful components, lentils offer higher concentrations that pot stills alone cannot provide, and by using copper columns we can expose the spirit vapours with natural fruits, plant leaves, herbs, and spices.
EcHT Distilling is licensed, with the facilities inspected and approved by the local PA and the US Federal Liquor Board Authorities.

The Pennsylvania Liquor Board requested that Pennsylvania distilleries help address the current shortage of sanitizer during the COVID-19 pandemic. With our collective backgrounds in regenerative medicine, nursing, skin cosmetics, and distilling, we decided to first produce an emergency supply of simple, effective sanitizer. Currently we are working on our premium sanitizer that incorporates regenerative medicine ingredients for better skin protection.
